COURSE OVERVIEW
Vaginismus is a sexual condition that causes difficulty or impossibility of penetration for individuals with vaginas. It is primarily a psychological condition associated with the fear of pain during penetration.
This comprehensive practitioner training equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist your clients in overcoming this condition. By doing so, they can regain a sense of bodily safety and experience pain-free sexual pleasure.
Drawing on her extensive expertise as a Relationship Counsellor and Clinical Sexologist, Dr Martha Tara Lee has developed this training based on her 15 years of specialisation in supporting clients with Vaginismus. It encompasses sex education, sex therapy, somatic approaches and her unique Formula, enabling you to effectively guide clients towards overcoming Vaginismus.
Attendees will be eligible for 1 Continuing Education (CE) point for each hour of training, accredited by The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the training, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of Dr Martha’s online Sex Program “Sex Possible”
- Demonstrate competency in sex counselling skills
- Answer commonly asked questions from clients with Vaginismus
- Demonstrate competency in teaching and applying Dr Lee’s formula to overcoming Vaginismus
- Formulate a client treatment plan
COURSE REQUIREMENTS, DATES & TIMES
To attain the certificate, you are required to:
- Attend 8 weekly, 3-hour virtual training sessions on Thursdays: March 7, 14, 21 (break on Mar 28), April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2, 2024, at 5 am PST / 3 pm GMT / 9 pm Singapore / 12 am AEDT
- Attend 8 weekly, 90-minute peer triad practices (at a time to be decided with your group members)
- After this, pass a verbal and a written exam
- Demonstrate competency in 3 recorded sessions with volunteer clients (we will support you in finding these clients)
PREREQUISITES
This training is for people with existing training and qualifications in working with sex, including Certified Sexological Bodyworkers, sex educators, sex counsellors, sex therapists or related helping professionals.

WEEK 9 – EXAM WEEK
- Verbal and written exam
- You will submit 3 volunteer client recordings (people with Vaginismus)
SUPPLEMENTARY SUPPORT DURING & AFTER THE TRAINING
- Support to find your three volunteer clients
- Access is included to Dr Martha Lee’s online training program on overcoming Vaginismus http://www.eroscoaching.com/sex-possible. It contains 28 videos released over 28 days
- Listing in Dr Martha’s directory of Recommended Vaginismus Practitioners
- 6 months of optional online group peer support

Full price: £1,260
Early bird price: £1,100 – when full payment is received before Jan 30, 2024.
A non-refundable deposit of £130.00 to secure your place in the training.
Full payment must be made by Feb 20, 2024.
REFUND POLICY
- There is a non-refundable deposit of £130 UK pounds, which secures your place in the training.
- If you decide you cannot participate in the training before March 7, you will be refunded your money minus the non-refundable deposit of £130.
- There is no refund if you withdraw after the training commences on March 7, 2024.

APPENDIX – AASECT CE CREDITS
Dr Martha Lee is a registered Continuing Education (CE) Provider (Individual Provider) with The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
Attendees will be eligible for 1 CE point for each hour of training.
MORE ON AASECT CE PROVIDERS
An AASECT CE Provider is an individual or organization, approved by AASECT and committed to providing education that meets AASECT standards for helping individuals earn or maintain AASECT Certification.
TYPES OF AASECT CE PROVIDERS
Individual Provider – An Individual Provider must be an AASECT Certified Member and must present at least 80% of the training of each event (note: if presenting training with a partner who is presenting more than 20% of the total material the Provider must apply to be an Organizational Provider).
Organizational Provider I – An individual, group of individuals, private training centre, school, accredited university/college, or other organization. Organizational Providers must have an AASECT Certified Member overseeing the planning of all training. The Organizational Provider I offers 40 or fewer AASECT CE credits per year and uses more than one expert to deliver the training.
Organizational Provider II – An individual, group of individuals, private training centre, school, accredited university/college, or other organization. Organizational Providers must have an AASECT Certified Member overseeing the planning of all training. The Organizational Provider II offers more than 40 AASECT CE credits per year and uses more than one expert to deliver the training.
When calculating CE credits, please use the following information:
- 60 minutes = 1 CE credit; 90 minutes = 1.5 CE credits
- Each credit hour must have one learning objective
- Increments of 15 or 45 minutes are not permitted for 0.25 or 0.75 credits. For example, a segment scheduled for 1 hour 15 minutes will count as 1 credit; a segment scheduled for 1 hour 45 minutes will count as 1.5 credits

Dr. Martha Tara Lee has been a passionate advocate for positive sexuality since 2007. With a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and a Masters in Counseling, she launched Eros Coaching in 2009 to help individuals and couples lead self-actualised and pleasurable lives.
