In an unprecedented move for Latin America, Uruguay lawmakers Wednesday adopted a trailblazing law allowing gay and lesbian couples to adopt children. I applaud the move. Gay and lesbian couples are no better or worse parents than the rest of us. And homosexuality is not contagious. Read it here.
