Action for AIDS wants more women to know that HIV/AIDS is a real issue that affects not only men, but women in Singapore. ‘All the Ladies!’ is a campaign to start running from August to October to raise women’s awareness for HIV/AIDS, and empower women to view regular HIV screening as a right to good health, and a responsibility if they are sexually-active. The campaign will lead up to AfA’s first fundraiser event for women and their families affected by HIV/AIDS this year.

I have volunteered to be the videographer for their ‘All the Ladies!’ campaign where I will capture different women on camera while they express their views on their 6 campaign themes: Love, Fear, Dreams, Sex, Risk, Trust.

AfA wants more women to know that HIV/AIDS is a real issue that affects not only men, but also the women in Singapore. ‘All the Ladies!’ is a campaign to encourage all women to view regular HIV screening as a right to good health, as a responsibility and commitment to your partner.

Loving the Paper Plates & the Silver Screen –a movie & picnic with a cause

To kickstart our new Women & Girls Outreach Program that will empower women at risk, and support more affected women and their families, we are having a fundraiser and we need all support from women we can get.

Taking place on October 30th at Fort Canning Park, it will be a great feel-good way for women to gather, spend some time together, have a picnic with girlfriends, and bond over a movie. The best thing? Doing so would help us spread word, access, and assist more women in need.
