Location: Sydney and Port Kembla, NSW
The experience of pain with sex, including vaginismus, can be overwhelming, and it might feel like your body is letting you down. It can be helpful to notice the relationship you currently have with your body and with sex, and to identify what you want and hope for. With your self-knowledge and intention setting, and my skills as a sexological bodyworker and erotic coach, together we can design a plan. This might include information and education, mapping out support networks, and planning a range of practical activities you can do by yourself, and/or with a partner, and/or in session with me. A key part of this work can be slowing down; finding and honouring your body’s pace, in a process of affirming sexual and bodily wellbeing.

6. Lillie Brown (She/Her)
Location: NSW, Australia. I welcome clients via Telehealth from across the globe.
Maybe it was Catholic school or maybe it was Friday night sleepovers watching Girls of the Playboy Mansion, but I’ve always been fascinated by all things sex and pleasure—why we have it, how we have it, and what we can do to have more of it.
In session, I work with anything and everything in the realm of sex, relationships, and intimacy. Experiencing unwanted pain during sex can be distressing and many clients I speak to feel broken or like their body has betrayed them. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals and couples experiencing painful sex, including vaginismus, to heal and repair their relationship with their body. With the right support, tools, and resources it is possible to move from pain and fear to a place of pleasure, ease, and vitality.
Beginning with embodiment practices to get you out of your head and into your body, oriented to our shared space—my approach is somatic and practice-based, which means that you learn by doing. To help you integrate the learnings from each session, you’ll receive a Pleasure Prescription—a curation of home practices and resources to explore outside of our time together. Sessions are 100% led by you and your needs, which means we move at your own pace and you have complete agency over what we explore in session—your body is our guide.
How you work: I combine talk-based and somatic approaches via Telehealth. All sessions are hands-off, clothes on.

Vaginismus is a psychological/physical condition that can also be worked on from a relational perspective; your body holds the score, your sense of self began in utero, and all of your life experiences have informed your sense of self, body, mind, and brain.
Our sexual health is of great importance to our sense of wellbeing. As a Somatic & Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist specialising in sexuality, I offer a confidential and safe space where we can gently get to know all aspects of you and your sexuality. I work as a talk therapist, and I work longer-term with patients, 1-2 years and beyond. 9. Shaza Teo (She / Her)
Location: Singapore
Sex is a taboo topic in our Asian conservative society. Many who are experiencing difficulties with their sexual health may find it embarrassing and tough to talk to someone about it.
In Singapore, cases related to vaginismus are increasing and could also be one of the contributing reasons for declining birth rate. A local study conducted by KK Women’s and Children’s hospital (KKH) reflected a result of 58.6% of Asian women in Singapore are at risk of female sexual dysfunction. Psychological distress and traumatic experiences are common triggers to hormonal imbalance, interfering with ovulation thus leading to delayed pregnancy. (CNA, 2021)
