Yup I did it! I have completed all 30 days of my Orgasmic Yoga journey and lived to tell the tale! This was actually the third time I embarked on 30 days of Orgasmic Yoga, but I documented it for the first time this round. This may not be so radical in some parts of the world, but it is in my mine.
You see, I am a Chinese born and bred in Singapore. While Singapore is undeniably one of the most modern and economically successful countries in Asia right now (and no, we are not part of China), if you looked deeper, you would realise that this is still a conservative society at large.
This is where I am based. I am the only certifed sexologist in Singapore holding a doctorate in human sexuality and for the last four years (coming to five), I have been running a small practice working with individuals and couples with sexual questions, concerns issues in this little island.
I decided to embark on this 30-Day journey to encourage and support my client in her own journey, and so committed to doing ths practice alongside her. And once I begun, I thought that it would be cool if I could see if I looked different at the end of 30 days. The idea of sharing my journey publicly and the possibility of this challenge being able to do good for a lot of people then emerged.
So, do I look different at the end of my 30 days than when I started? You can decide from this video where I have put together one photo from each day. It is less than 30 seconds.
And if you like to watch more, this is the video recording what happened for the entire week 4 of 4 (25mins). And this is the video for day 30 of 30 (the last day)! Then there is how I did in week 1, week 2 and week 3!
What is Orgasmic Yoga?
Orgasmic Yoga involves pleasurable, intimate and transformative practices. When practiced regularly over time, Orgasmic Yoga can change your life. The practice sessions involve breathing, savoring, sound, movement, touch, placement of attention, and awareness of intention. Erotic practice sessions weave together the heart and genitals. This alone is a profound reason to commit to practice. Orgasmic Yoga often produces a state of arousal that is free of fantasy, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, cultural caveats and habitual sexual behaviors. In this erotic trance state, an individual becomes aware of the body as a source of wisdom, happiness and freedom.
