I addressed about thirty fourth-year students of the department of Social Science on Tuesday 5 Feb 2013. The title: Grab Life By The Balls.

Even though her first degree was in mass communication and she worked in corporate communications for many years, Dr. Martha Tara found herself on a journey of self discovery and realisation that transcended her original career. She will share how personal life and work life became interwoven for her and how she came to be a sexologist, thereby creating a new “profession” for herself and becoming Singapore’s first sexologist and first certified sexuality educator (by AASECT – American American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapist). She will speak of her trials and tribulations and why she will continue to grab life by the balls. The intent of this seminar is to inspire participants to examine life in all its facets, to embrace and live life fully and fearlessly just as she has. This is not a sexuality education session but sexuality related questions are welcomed.
